We reluctantly left Streaky Bay for Elliston, not too far south. On the way we called into Murphy's Haystack - which are wind eroded granite boulders in the middle of farmland. The kids loved exploring and surfing the rocks. We met another family with 8 year old twins who had been travelling Australia for 5 years!! The kids had great fun together. They convinced us to unhook and venture 40kms to the coast to Point Labatt - where there is 1 of the only few permanent sea lion colonies in Australia. From a platform lookout we got to see about 30 sealions enjoying their natural environment - swimming or sunbathing on the rocks. This coastline is specky!
