Ben & Bella |
We left Porepunkah headed for Albury Wodonga. Surprise, surprise, our plans changed and we ended up in Wagga Wagga. Ben was very excited to finally be in Wagga Wagga. It is the one place he kept saying he wanted to visit!!
Wagga Wagga (population, 60000) is home to some more Thomas relatives and we have had a great time catching up with them.
On Wednesday we spent the day with Mark (Simon's cousin), Leanne (Mark's wife) and Brett (Mark & Leanne's eldest son) at their farm at The Rock. Thank you for a wonderful day, yummy lunch, ride on the four wheeler, sit in Chris' cool go-kart and sits in the new tractor and header. We really appreciate your hospitality especially at such short notice! Plus the kids loved Bella and Sasha, the beautiful dogs.
On Thursday and Friday we spent time catching up with Uncle Geoff and Auntie Faye, Carolyn (Simon's cousin) and Tony (Carolyn's husband). Thank you for your hospitality, yummy food and taking us to some great "kid" places - 2 great parks and the zoo at the Botanic Gardens. We have really enjoyed seeing you all. An extra big thank you for the drive in your beautiful "Riley" car.
On Thursday night we met Chris (Mark and Leanne's youngest son). Thanks Chris for making the effort to come and see us and a great catch up. Was great to see you.
We have really enjoyed our time in Wagga Wagga.
Next stop....Canberra. Until then.......take care.
