Happy Birthday sweetheart. We hope you had a wonderful day and will remember your "Darwin" birthday always.
Ever since we knew we would be in Darwin for Chloe's birthday, Chloe wanted to spend her day at the Wave Pool. Chloe and Ben had heard great things about the Wave Pool from Luke and Florence and thought it sounded pretty cool. So we spent 3 hours at the wave pool. Our neighbours - the Wise Family were also there so we did not see Chloe for the entire time. Her and Kate were in the water the whole time and were having so much fun on the tubes and boggey boards.
We then had fish and chips for lunch at the wharf, a quiet afternoon and pizza and icecream cake for tea. It was a challenge trying to eat the icecream cake before it melted in the Darwin heat (even at 7.30 at night)
Chloe got absolutely spoilt, especially by Grandma and Grandpa. Chloe was so happy that Grandma and Grandpa were able to share her special day with her. She got her much wished for Ripstik and has been having fun trying to master it.
Other than Chloe and Ben getting a bit sunburnt, it was a fantastic day.
