Torquay and Geelong (19/12/11)

We spent the morning at Torquay, where we visited the surf shop factory outlets - we all got new hats!!  Then onto Geelong.  1st stop Skilled Stadium, home of the Geelong Cats.  The kids were very impressed with their many premiership cups that were on display.

We struggled to find a playground in Geelong that was not packed with school kids on their end of year excursions.  Then we discovered Eastern Beach and the Geelong Baths.  Such a great spot.  Fantastic playground and they are in the process of rebuilding the pool and ocean baths, which was very popular years ago.  We walked around the boardwalk - unfortunately it was a bit cold for a swim.
